Ingredients
- 500 g beef tenderloin - 1 pack fresh button mushrooms
- About 3 tbsp butter
- ½ pack frozen diced onions
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 dl cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley)
Instructions
1. Cut the beef tenderloin into small cubes. 2. Clean the button mushrooms and slice them.
3. Heat the butter in a large skillet and add the diced onions. Sauté for a few minutes.
4. Add the beef cubes to the skillet and brown until nicely colored.
5. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for a few more minutes.
6. Sprinkle the flour over the beef and mushrooms, mixing well.
7. Pour in the cream and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for about 20-30 minutes, until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
8. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Serve warm garnished with fresh herbs.
