Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- (Optional: lemon juice)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until slightly golden.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream over the spinach and mix well. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce. If needed, add a little of the reserved cooking water to help combine the pasta and sauce.
6. Serve immediately, adding lemon juice on top if desired.
