Deliciously sticky and slightly crispy wings that will enchant your taste buds with their flavor profile.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tbsp Gochujang chili paste
- 3 tbsp palm sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Rinse the chicken wings thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. In a bowl, mix together Gochujang, palm sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss well to ensure all wings are coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot.
5. Fry the chicken wings in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes per side.
6. Remove the wings and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
7. Serve immediately, either as is or drizzled with a bit more marinade.
