A traditional Nordic dish made with ground beef and smoked fish, perfect for a hearty meal. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef
- 200 g smoked fish (such as herring or salmon)
- 1 dl cream
- 1 dl beef broth
- 1 large onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion.
2. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the onion until soft and translucent.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it well.
4. Dice the smoked fish and add it to the pan.
5. Stir in the cream, beef broth, mustard, vinegar, and honey.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
