A hearty Finnish dish featuring minced beef and anchovies, served with fluffy baked potatoes.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef
- 100 g anchovies
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 baking potatoes
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
2. In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until soft.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned.
4. Stir in the chopped anchovies and mix well.
5. Pour in the cream and add the mustard, stir and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Wash the baking potatoes and bake them in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 45-60 minutes, until tender.
8. Serve the Vorschmack alongside the baked potatoes.
