Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when the surface is set but slightly moist in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate icing for decoration.
