A delicious bread cake combining the rich flavors of rye and wheat bread, perfect for celebrations or family gatherings. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- Rye toast bread
- Wheat sandwich bread
- 150 g mayonnaise
- 200 g chive cream cheese
- 200 g sour cream
- 200 g smoked ham
- 1 dl finely chopped chives
Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling by mixing mayonnaise, chive cream cheese, sour cream, and finely chopped chives in a bowl.
2. Cut the smoked ham into small pieces and add it to the mixture. Stir well.
3. Place a layer of rye toast bread on a serving platter and spread some of the filling on top.
4. Add a layer of wheat sandwich bread on top of the filling and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
5. Cover the bread cake with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
6. Cut the bread cake into serving pieces and serve.
