These delightful Finnish curd doughnuts are quick and easy to make, and they taste delicious any time of the year. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 10-12 doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 250 g curd cheese - 1 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 dl oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the curd cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar.2. Add the baking powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Stir until the dough is smooth.
3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
4. Take small portions of the dough and fry them in the hot oil until golden brown.
5. Remove the doughnuts and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil, allowing them to cool for a moment.
6. Sift powdered sugar over the doughnuts before serving.
