A delicious and hearty dish perfect for any time of the year. This savory casserole is a favorite for many and is baked to perfection.

Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cabbage
- 400 g ground meat (beef or pork)
- 1 dl rice
- 1 onion
- 2 dl beef broth
- 1 dl crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp syrup
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the onion until soft.
2. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned.
3. Cook the rice according to package instructions and mix it with the meat and onion.
4. Chop the cabbage and add it to the mixture. Stir well.
5. Add the beef broth, crushed tomatoes, syrup, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and smooth the top.
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 175°C for about 1 hour.
8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow the casserole to rest for a moment before serving.
