Kaalilaatikko with Lamb

A hearty and flavorful dish made with tender lamb, cabbage, and rice. Perfect for a comforting meal. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g lamb meat
- 1 small cabbage
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 onion
- 2 dl rice
- 5 dl beef broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the lamb meat to the pan and cook until browned.
4. Chop the cabbage and add it to the pan. Sauté for a few moments.
5. Add rice and thyme to the pan and mix well.
6. Pour the beef broth over the mixture and season with salt and pepper.
7. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until the rice and cabbage are cooked.
8. Serve warm.
