- 200 ml water
- 2 tbsp coffee grounds (preferably dark roast)
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1 tbsp milk or plant-based alternative
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the water in a pot or kettle.
2. Add the coffee grounds to a cup and pour the hot water over them.
3. Stir well and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
4. Strain the coffee into another cup to leave the grounds behind.
5. Add sugar and milk if desired, and mix well.
6. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for added flavor.
7. Enjoy your coffee leisurely, just like in Amsterdam.
