This delicious pesto is a perfect addition to pasta dishes, sandwiches, or salads. It’s quick to prepare and takes just a few minutes to blend.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: About 200 ml
Ingredients:
- 50 g pine nuts
- 100 g fresh basil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 100 ml olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until golden brown.
2. Place the toasted pine nuts, basil leaves, and peeled garlic cloves into a blender.
3. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while the machine is running.
4. Slowly pour in the olive oil while continuing to blend until the pesto is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Transfer the pesto to a jar and store it in the refrigerator. The pesto will keep for a week.
