Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 200 ml cream
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are cooked through and golden brown.
4. Add the garlic to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes until softened.
5. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
6. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water as needed.
8. Serve the pasta with Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
