This delicious hummus is inspired by nut-based parmesan and offers unforgettable flavor. Easy to make and perfect as a dip or spread! Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- ½ cup cashews - ¾ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 can (about 400 g) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
1. Add the cashews, nutritional yeast, and garlic powder to a blender. Blend until the ingredients are finely ground. 2. Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. If the hummus is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Blend again to combine.
5. Serve the hummus with fresh vegetables, bread, or crispbreads.
