A delicious and nutritious dip perfect for snacking or serving with vegetables. Preparation time: 10 minutes. Serving size: 4.

Ingredients:

- 1 can chickpeas
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or lime juice)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- A splash of tahini (to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Rinse the chickpeas under cold water and drain well.
2. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.
3. In a blender, combine the chickpeas, crushed garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and tahini.
4. Blend until smooth. Add water if the hummus is too thick.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Blend again briefly.
6. Serve the hummus with bread, vegetables, or crackers.
