Hummus

A delicious Middle Eastern dip made from chickpeas, perfect for serving with bread or salads. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g canned chickpeas
- 100 ml tahini
- Salt to taste
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp cumin
- 100 ml lemon juice
- 1 red chili, seeds removed
- 50 ml olive oil
Instructions:
1. Peel the garlic cloves and remove the seeds from the chili.
2. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
3. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
5. Add the tahini and mix well.
6. Transfer the hummus to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about an hour.
7. Serve with pita bread or salad.
