A refreshing hummus combining chickpeas and fresh herbs. Perfect as a dip or spread!
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, cilantro, or mint)
- Water as needed (to adjust consistency)
Instructions:
1. Place all ingredients except water into a blender or food processor.
2. Blend the ingredients until smooth. If needed, add water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
3. Taste and adjust flavor by adding more salt or lemon juice if necessary.
4. Serve the hummus with fresh vegetables, pita bread, or crackers. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
