Ingredients:

- 1 cup cooked beans (e.g., black beans or chickpeas)
- 1 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., carrots, zucchini, and bell peppers)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Mash the beans in a bowl with a fork or potato masher until fairly smooth.
2. Add the chopped vegetables, rolled oats, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties. If the mixture is too wet, you can add a bit more rolled oats.
4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
5. Serve warm, for example with a salad or yogurt sauce.
