Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour the cream over the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix thoroughly. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to keep the pasta moist.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
7. Serve the pasta on plates and garnish with fresh parsley.
