Ingredients:
- 300 g green asparagus
- 50 g butter
- 1 dl wood sorrel (fresh or dried)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rinse the asparagus and trim off the woody ends.
2. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat until it begins to lighten in color and brown slightly.
3. Add the asparagus to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
4. Season with salt and pepper. If desired, add a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.
5. Serve the asparagus with the wood sorrel. You can chop the wood sorrel and sprinkle it over the dish for a beautiful presentation.
