A delicious and easy dish combining herring fillets with a potato and onion mixture, providing flavors and nutrients.

Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes
- 2 onions
- 1-2 broth cubes or 1 dl broth
- 400 g herring fillets
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Mineral salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 2 tbsp capers
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes and onions.
2. Spread the potato-onion mixture in a baking dish and crumble the broth cubes or add the broth.
3. Season the herring fillets with lemon juice, mineral salt, and black pepper.
4. Place the herring fillets on top of the potatoes in the dish.
5. Cut the tomatoes and chop the basil. Add the tomatoes, basil, and capers to the dish.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 30 minutes.
