Ingredients:
- 680 g herring fillets
- Rape seed oil or butter
- Dried dill
- Salt
- Lemon essence
Instructions:
1. Rinse the herring fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Place the fillets skin-side down on a sheet of newspaper or parchment paper.
3. Drizzle lemon essence over each fillet.
4. Sprinkle a little salt on top of the fillets and add dried dill.
5. Let the fillets marinate for a moment to allow the salt to penetrate.
6. Layer the fillets on top of one another.
7. Grease a baking dish with rape seed oil or butter and arrange the fillets in the dish.
8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
