Ingredients:
- 200 g gingerbread cookies - 100 g butter
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 50 g nuts (e.g., walnuts or hazelnuts)
- Cinnamon and ginger to taste
Instructions:
1. Crumble the gingerbread cookies and melt the butter. Mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter.2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a dish and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth.
4. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
5. Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the gingerbread crust.
6. Chop the nuts and sprinkle them on top. Add cinnamon and ginger to taste if desired.
7. Allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
