A delightful festive cake infused with chocolate and orange flavors. Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
- ½ tsp baking powder
- A splash of lemon juice (optional)
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 1 orange
- 3 eggs
- 150 g butter
- 2 tbsp syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- ½ tsp cardamom
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- Gingerbread dough (for decoration)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
- 100 g chocolate
Instructions:
1. Grease a cake pan and preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar, syrup, and eggs.
3. Grate the orange zest and squeeze the juice. Add both to the batter.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and cardamom, then add to the batter.
5. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Decorate with gingerbread dough and powdered sugar, and melt the chocolate over the cake.
