Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)
- 400 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 dl cooked rice
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 dl tomato sauce
- 1 dl shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Rinse the bell peppers and cut off the tops. Remove the seeds and stems.
3. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté them in a pan until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika powder.
5. Stir in the cooked rice and tomato sauce into the meat mixture. Mix well.
6. Stuff the bell peppers with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the peppers.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
