Ingredients:

- 300 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button or chanterelles)
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 ml vegetable or chicken broth
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Clean the mushrooms and chop them into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat the butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
3. Add the mushrooms to the pot and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
4. Pour the vegetable or chicken broth into the mushroom mixture and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
5. Stir in the cream and mix well. Let the soup simmer for a few more minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the soup warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
