A quick and tasty sandwich recipe perfect for lunch or a snack.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of white bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese (such as Emmental or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon of mustard (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Spread butter on both sides of the bread slices.
2. Place ham and cheese on two of the bread slices.
3. If desired, add mustard and season with salt and pepper.
4. Top with the other two slices of bread and press down gently.
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
