Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Frosting (e.g., cream or sugar frosting)
- Decorations (e.g., berries, chocolate, sprinkles)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the batter, alternating with the milk.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
8. Prepare your frosting and decorate the cake as desired.
