Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl milk
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g shredded cheese
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.
3. In a bowl, mix the cream, milk, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Grease a baking dish and layer the potato slices in it.
5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the potatoes.
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180 °C for about 45 minutes.
8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
9. Let it rest for a moment before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.
10. Serve warm!
