Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 medium eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and butter mixture and mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is cooked through. Check doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
