Ingredients:

- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish, if desired)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes until soft.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour cream into the spinach mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
