A traditional Mediterranean yogurt sauce that refreshes dishes and balances spicy flavors. This delicious sauce is a perfect addition to grilled foods and salads.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes + 1-2 hours chilling
Serving Size: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

- 400 g Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh dill or mint (optional)

Instructions:

1. Grate the cucumber using a coarse grater and squeeze out the excess liquid.
2. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.
3. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, grated cucumber, crushed garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
4. Season with salt and black pepper. You can also add chopped dill or mint for extra flavor.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to let the flavors meld.
6. Serve chilled with grilled dishes or salads.
