Soft and delicious tortillas made with a blend of corn and wheat flour, perfect for a Mexican dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8 tortillas
Ingredients:
- 1 cup corn flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the corn flour, wheat flour, and salt.
2. Gradually add warm water and oil to the flour mixture.
3. Knead the dough by hand until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape them into balls.
5. Roll each ball out into a thin circle.
6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
7. Serve warm.
