This delicious chocolate toffee combines sweet toffee and chocolate into a unique treat. Perfect for holiday indulgence or as a gift for friends. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: About 20 candies
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl syrup
- 1 dl cream
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the sugar, syrup, and cream. Mix well.
3. Heat the mixture while stirring continuously until it begins to boil. Reduce the heat and cook for about 10-15 minutes, until it thickens and turns a golden brown color.
4. Stir in the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
5. Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish and let it cool at room temperature.
6. Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or microwave. Pour the melted chocolate over the toffee and spread it evenly.
7. Allow it to cool completely and then cut into pieces.
