Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter or margarine in a coated saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the sugar and heavy cream to the saucepan. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon or spatula.
3. Continue stirring and cook the mixture for about 35 minutes, until it turns light brown and thickens.
4. Pour the finished mixture onto parchment paper, spreading it to a thickness of about 1 cm.
5. Allow the toffee to cool at room temperature until it hardens.
6. Once set, cut into desired sizes with a knife.
