These delicious toffee bites are sweet and chewy, guaranteed to be a hit among those with a sweet tooth. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + cooling
Serving Size: About 20 pieces
Ingredients:
- 2 dl light syrup - 1/2 dl sugar
- 3 dl shredded coconut
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 6 dl rice cereal
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (cooked toffee style)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the light syrup, sugar, shredded coconut, and vanilla sugar.2. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar has melted and the mixture is smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool.
4. Once cooled, add the rice cereal and the well-mixed cooked toffee to the syrup mixture. Stir until evenly combined.
5. Spread the mixture onto a flat dish lined with parchment paper.
6. Allow the bites to set in a cool place, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
