Caramel Toffee Covered in Chocolate

Delicious handmade toffee coated in rich chocolate, perfect for Christmas or any celebration. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 20 toffees
Ingredients:
- 200 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g dark chocolate
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, cream, and vanilla sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar melts and the mixture starts to boil.
2. Continue cooking for about 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly, until it turns a golden brown color.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add a pinch of salt. Pour the mixture into a baking paper-lined dish and let it cool.
4. Once the toffee has cooled and hardened, cut it into pieces.
5. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.
6. Dip the toffee pieces into the melted chocolate and place them back on the baking paper. Allow to set.
7. Serve and enjoy!
