Tomahawk Steak is a large and juicy cut of meat, perfect for grilling to perfection. Known for its intense flavor and tenderness, this steak is sure to impress your guests.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg Tomahawk steak
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme
- Butter (to taste)
Instructions:
1. Take the Tomahawk steak out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.
2. Rub salt and black pepper generously on both sides of the steak.
3. Preheat the grill to high heat and brush the grilling surface with olive oil.
4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it develops a beautiful crust.
5. Top the steak with crushed garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
6. Move the steak to indirect heat and grill for an additional 30-40 minutes, or until your desired level of doneness is reached.
7. Add a pat of butter on top of the steak and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
8. Slice the steak and serve it with grilled vegetables and potatoes.
