Ingredients:
- 1 kg tomahawk steak (with bone)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme)
Instructions:
1. Take the tomahawk steak out of the refrigerator and let it reach room temperature for about 30-60 minutes before cooking.
2. Preheat a grill pan or grill to high heat.
3. Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
4. Add olive oil to the pan and sear the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the surface is beautifully brown.
5. Add the crushed garlic and fresh herbs beside the steak in the pan.
6. Reduce the heat and cook the steak to your desired doneness (about 10-15 minutes depending on internal temperature).
7. Let the steak rest under foil for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
