A delicious tomato-based pasta that combines flavorful reindeer meat with a rich tomato sauce. Perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion!

Ingredients:

- 250 g reindeer meat (stir-fried)
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
- Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
4. Add the reindeer meat to the pan and cook until the meat is done.
5. Pour the crushed tomatoes into the pan and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
6. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce and let it meld together for a moment.
8. Serve the portions topped with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil.
