Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1 egg
- ½ cup light cream
- 1½ cups shredded strong cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a tart pan.
3. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them evenly over the pie crust.
4. In a bowl, crack the egg and add the light cream, shredded cheese, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Pour the mixture over the tomatoes.
6. Bake the tart in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
