Ingredients:
- ½ red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 dried kaffir lime leaves, rinsed
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- Piece of turnip, sliced
- 4 thin slices of fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp dried lemongrass
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1 pack herb-marinated fish strips
- 1 liter water
- ½ pack peeled shrimp (frozen)
- 4 radishes, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
Instructions:
1. In a pot, heat the water and add the kaffir lime leaves, ginger, and lemongrass. Boil for about 5 minutes.
2. Add the red bell pepper, celery, turnip, carrots, and radishes to the pot. Cook for another 10 minutes.
3. Stir in the coconut milk and herb-marinated fish strips. Let the soup simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Finally, add the frozen shrimp and heat the soup for another 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp are fully cooked.
5. Check the seasoning and serve hot.
