Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- Lettuce (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Shape the ground beef into four patties and season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the patties in the pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
4. Place cheese slices on top of the patties and cover the pan with a lid. Let the cheese melt.
5. Sauté the sliced onion in the pan until soft and golden brown.
6. Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom of a bun, then add a patty, onion, tomato, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Top with the bun lid.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
