Ingredients:
- 4-5 apples (e.g., tart varieties)
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl rolled oats
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 dl milk
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Peel the apples and slice them. In a bowl, mix the apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let them marinate for a bit.
2. In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the melted butter, milk, and egg to the dry mixture. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
4. Grease a pie dish and pour the batter into it. Spread the apple mixture evenly on top of the batter.
5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
