A traditional Spanish tapas dish featuring crispy fried potatoes served with a delicious aioli. Perfect for a tapas dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 garlic clove (for aioli)
- 100 ml mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Peel and dice the potatoes into cubes.
2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until they are nearly cooked. Drain and let cool for a moment.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the potato cubes to the pan.
4. Fry the potatoes for about 10-15 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
5. Prepare the aioli by mixing mayonnaise, crushed garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
6. Serve the fried potatoes hot with the aioli on the side.
