Delicious cocktail meatballs made from venison, perfect for parties or gatherings. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 20 meatballs
Ingredients:
- 500 g venison- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk, and let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb.2. Add the venison, chopped onion, crushed garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary to the bowl. Mix all ingredients well.
3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs (about the size of a ping pong ball).
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs in batches until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
5. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice.
