A flavorful Indian dish made with marinated chicken, perfect for grilling or pan-searing. Preparation Time: 1-2 hours (plus marinating time)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 chicken breast pieces
- 1 tsp chili powder
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken breast into smaller pieces.
2. In a bowl, mix the yogurt and all the spices thoroughly.
3. Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and mix well to coat.
4. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, preferably overnight.
5. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken pieces until cooked through and nicely colored.
6. Serve warm with rice or salad.
