This sweet bread is a perfect treat to brighten your day. Its soft and moist texture makes it an excellent choice to enjoy with coffee or tea. Preparation Time: 1 hour (includes baking time)
Serving Size: 10 slices
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g sugar
- 10 g salt
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 250 ml milk
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 g dried fruits or nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk to lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar.
3. Add the eggs and melted butter to the flour mixture.
4. Pour the yeast milk into the dough mixture and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. If desired, add dried fruits or nuts and mix evenly.
6. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
7. Grease a loaf pan and pour the dough into it.
8. Bake at 175 °C (350 °F) for about 30–35 minutes until the bread is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before slicing.
