Ingredients:
- 1 kg beef (e.g., brisket)
- 2 liters water
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 onion, halved
- 3-4 allspice berries
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Place the beef in a large pot and cover it with water. Bring to a boil.
2. Add the carrots, celery, onion, allspice berries, and bay leaves.
3. Reduce the heat and let the broth simmer gently for about 2-3 hours, until the meat is tender.
4. Season with salt and allow the broth to cool slightly.
5. Remove the meat from the pot and slice it thinly.
6. Serve the meat with the hot broth, garnished with fresh parsley.
