Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
